Today we’re introducing Lattice, the platform at the centre of everything we build at Halite.
Lattice gives teams a single, well-specified interface to our models, along with the tools to understand what those models are doing: structured outputs that validate against your schemas, traces you can inspect step by step, and evaluation suites that run alongside your deployments.
Why structure matters
Most of the cost of shipping intelligent systems isn’t in the first demo. It shows up later, when you need to know why a system behaved the way it did, or prove it will keep behaving that way. We designed Lattice around that later moment.
- Typed by default. Every response conforms to a schema you define, or fails loudly.
- Inspectable. Each request produces a trace of intermediate steps you can replay.
- Measured. Evaluations are first-class objects, versioned with your prompts and code.
